Reflecting on 2024 with WellBeam
A year of growth, innovation, and dedication to building seamless, connected care
As we settle into 2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible strides WellBeam has made in the past year to streamline clinical workflows, improve patient outcomes, and increase physician satisfaction. As we look at the year ahead, we remain committed to driving innovation and delivering meaningful results across the continuum of care.
Here are some key highlights from 2024:
Expanded Partnerships
The past year has been one of expansion, growth, and connectivity for WellBeam.
Particularly in Southern California, where WellBeam has expanded its footprint by partnering with regional health systems, academic teaching hospitals, and national home health agencies, to streamline workflows, increase efficiencies, and improve patient outcomes.
Sansum Clinic, part of Sutter Health
In Santa Barbara, Sutter Health’s Sansum Clinic expanded its partnership with WellBeam from a small, single-clinic pilot program to a system-wide commercial solution. Less than a year after implementation, WellBeam is the key driver of workflow efficiencies not only for Sansum Clinic’s primary care locations and specialty groups like Neurology and Orthopedics but also for providers in Sansum Clinic’s high-performing home health network.
The results?
Document turnaround times improved dramatically, with 100% of documents returned within an average of 65 hours — a remarkable improvement over the previous 21-day delay before implementing WellBeam. Additionally, medical assistants at Sutter’s Sansum Clinic reported an 81% reduction in time spent on home health workflows. The transformation also boosted physician satisfaction ratings with a 107-point increase in Net Promoter Scores.
Sansum Clinic’s home health partners have also seen an impact. Central Coast Home Health, a key partner in patient care, saw immediate improvements in their own operations. “With WellBeam, Central Coast Home Health is responding to patient care more quickly, and our billing team loves submitting claims faster to reduce out-of-pocket expenses,” said Mike Sanden, Clinical Manager, Central Coast Home Health.
Southwest Orthopaedic & Reconstructive Specialists
Southwest Orthopaedic & Reconstructive Specialists (SOS), marks another 2024 milestone in the WellBeam story and is the first organization to bring WellBeam into the Oklahoma market. SOS adopted WellBeam in 2024 to unlock new revenue streams through the billing for G0180 and G0179 codes. These reimbursements offset the cost of the technology, making WellBeam a self-sustaining solution. Physicians at SOS are also reporting faster documentation turnaround, with Plans of Care certified in an average of 79 hours and recertified in just 31 hours.
I can now get through 3-5 charts in about a minute where it once took me five minutes for a single chart.

Strategic Growth & Investments
In 2024, WellBeam welcomed new strategic financing from leading partners like ReMY Capital, Advocate-Atrium Health System Ventures, Compassus Home Health & Hospice, and more. These investments are fueling innovation and enabling WellBeam to deliver even greater value to patients providers across the continuum.
Innovative Product Advancements
WellBeam also introduced transformative updates to make care coordination faster and easier for users. These enhancements included quicker response times when accessing information, smarter tools for processing patient and provider data from uploaded documents, and streamlined workflows for handling multiple files at once. We also strengthened our integration with Epic, enabling physician teams to better manage and prioritize home health messages directly within their existing workflows. These advancements were designed to simplify tasks, save time, and enhance the overall experience for care teams.
What’s Ahead in 2025 & Beyond?
As we continue our mission to advance post-acute care delivery and coordination, here’s a glimpse of what’s ahead:
Enhancing Value-Based Care
The introduction of the CMS TEAMS Model in 2026 will necessitate a significant shift in how healthcare providers operate. By promoting collaboration and care coordination among health systems, medical groups, and home health agencies, this model aims to improve patient outcomes, reduce unnecessary expenditures, and streamline the patient journey throughout the continuum.
WellBeam is uniquely positioned to support healthcare organizations as they transition to the CMS TEAMS Model. With a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, WellBeam offers tailored solutions to allow providers to optimize their operations and achieve success. From fostering collaboration and enhancing care coordination, to reducing costs and improving physician satisfaction, WellBeam provides the technology and expertise needed to deliver high-quality, value-based care.
Trusted, Secure Product Innovation
WellBeam is a trusted, HIPAA-compliant platform that safeguards patient data while fostering seamless communication across the post-acute care continuum. In 2025, we are reinforcing our commitment to patient privacy and security through ongoing investments, including maintaining our SOC 2 Type II certification, conducting regular penetration testing to proactively address vulnerabilities, and expanding our security capabilities to enhance real-time threat detection and response protocols.
To further enhance care coordination, WellBeam is expanding its leadership in healthcare interoperability. We are advancing support for HL7 FHIR standards, deepening integrations with leading EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, and Homecare Homebase, and simplifying data exchange across the care continuum. These enhancements provide real-time access to critical patient information, helping physicians and hospital teams improve decision-making and streamline operations. In addition, we’re aligning with new regulatory requirements to ensure your organization stays ahead in the evolving landscape of data sharing.
It’s 2025 — so say farewell to faxes and join us in building the next era of healthcare.
